Read for 30 minutes each day (M-Th). Monday and Thursday, please read "Iditarod Dream" from our reading basal to prepare for class activities as well as the assessment on Friday. Practice (if needed) spelling words on http://spellingcity.com -- look for Mrs. Wann's Week of 11/02/09 list. Here is the spelling center we will be completing in class: Week of 11/02/09. Social Studies: Students should be completing at least two activities per week on their next long-term project -- Due 11/30/09 (6 weeks in length due to the amount of work required to complete it successfully). If you need an extra copy of the project you may download it here: Treasure Chest Project. Math: Practice multiplication and division fast facts and place value chart every night. Students may also review weekly Pop Quizzes to study since I give them feedback every time they take one.
